Outline

  • The author (British PUA Richard La Ruina) recounts his transformation from social failure to a "natural" style
  • The sources of attraction: social status, confidence, and similar traits, rather than looks or money
  • The interaction flow from approach and opener to the "social hook point" and on to building comfort
  • Closing (getting contact information), day game (approaching in everyday settings), and follow-up
  • Frequently asked questions and a summary

Core idea

Argues for abandoning scripted, performative routines in favor of a natural, low-key, low-pressure way of approaching and attracting, so the interaction reads as normal socializing rather than "a game."

Review

The "natural" style is a correction to earlier, more formulaic PUA approaches, and its style is comparatively unaffected, but underneath it still rests on a framework of advancing toward a predetermined goal, and its evolutionary-psychology explanations of male-female dynamics are somewhat simplistic.
